Communication lies at the heart of any business. You should never write as though you were having a conversation. This continued for about two weeks.
Many entrepreneurs and leaders will admit that some information needs to be available on a need to know basis to prevent that information from slipping into the hands of the media, competition or enemy. There is little doubt that Contemporary Business Communication has been forever changed by the information age. As the saying goes; lose lips sink ships.
No it will not be infinite by any means, but compared to what we have now it will be. You should be conversational (e.g. write using the kind of words you might use if you were having a conversation) but not as though you were having a conversation. I had assumed from the beginning that we were working on one part of the site (the part I thought needed the most work) but the person employing me thought it was another part of the site. For instance, many folks have a lot of knowledge, experience, observations, insight and original thoughts.
Just think what this will mean for your business endeavors. In fact I would even go so far as to say that without communication there can be no business. The folks who have the information do not even trust themselves with the Business and Administrative Communication they have because it’s too easy to make a mistake. Believe me if it is possible to misunderstand something then people will.
